Our Mission Statement

The Newkirk Community Garden is a small space with a big mission: to bring neighbors together to grow healthy food and native flora, build community, encourage healthy ecosystems, and care for and celebrate our neighborhood.

Open hours are 11AM-2PM Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, from April to November.

Take the Q or B train to Newkirk Plaza, the F train to 18th Street, or the B68 bus to Coney Island and Newkirk.
